Marketing Manager

Hybrid | Bloomington, MN (1 week per month onsite)

Compensation: Up to $110,000 base (flexibility for the right background)

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a well-established animal genetics organization that plays a meaningful role in sustainable food production and works closely with producers, technical experts, and global partners across the industry.

They are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing initiatives that strengthen brand presence, elevate product awareness, and support continued growth. This is a highly visible role offering a blend of strategy, execution, and leadership.


What You'll Do

As the Marketing Manager, you will own the marketing function and serve as a key partner to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with business goals
  • Lead brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Plan and manage marketing campaigns across digital, social, print, and paid media
  • Oversee content development that translates technical concepts into compelling, audience-focused messaging
  • Manage and develop one direct report, fostering growth and accountability
  • Collaborate with sales, technical, and leadership teams to align marketing efforts
  • Support and coordinate trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Stay informed on industry trends to ensure messaging remains relevant and impactful

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, ideally within agriculture, animal genetics, animal health, or related industries
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex or technical topics
  • Demonstrated organization and project-management skills
  • Prior experience supervising or mentoring others is strongly preferred
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with a hands-on approach

Work Environment & Travel

  • Hybrid role based out of the Bloomington, MN office; Approximately one week per month onsite
  • Domestic travel required for events, tradeshows, and collaboration
